Celebrating the 50th Anniversary

On January 12, 2016, marked 50 years since the establishment of the Department of "Electrical Measuring Techniques". This is a historical period filled with much hard work, unceasing enthusiasm, and undeniable creative achievements for current and former members of the department. The scientific results and recognition achieved over these years have established the department as a leading unit in metrology and measuring technology education in the country. The high scientific and creative potential of the teaching staff, combined with the fundamental nature of the taught disciplines, are at the core of forming highly qualified engineering specialists who find successful careers both domestically and abroad.
The main principles that the department has adhered to during its fifty-year history are the creation, development, and improvement of the educational process in line with global trends, ensuring a creative environment for the formation of highly qualified teachers, establishing fruitful connections and interactions with the production and service sectors, and active student participation in solving significant problems in the educational process.
The staff of the Department of "Electrical Measuring Techniques" at the Faculty of Automation of the Technical University – Sofia most politely invites all former and current members of the department, students, doctoral students, and graduates of the department to attend the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Department of "Electrical Measuring Techniques".
The ceremony will take place on November 2, 2016, Wednesday, at 15:30 in Hall 12126, Educational Block 12 of TU-Sofia.
