Annual Awards "Bulgaria is You"

For the fourth consecutive year, the Association "Bulgaria is You" presented its awards in memory of one of the influential public figures, the prominent scientist and intellectual Prof. Dr. Toncho Zhechev. The awards are for exceptional contribution to the establishment of universal human values and the promotion of humanitarian causes, for contribution to the affirmation and development of Bulgarian science, education, culture, art, charity, honest and fair journalism, civil society, sports, medicine.

The Technical University – Sofia was honored with this prestigious award at the solemn ceremony on February 29 at the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov". The honorary statuette, which the Rector of TU – Sofia received, for contribution to the development of Bulgarian society, was crafted by the prominent Bulgarian sculptor Prof. Evgeny Kuzmanov.
