120 Companies Participated in Career Days 2026 at Technical University of Sofia and its Plovdiv and Sliven Campuses

With great interest from industry and students, the forum Career Days celebrated its 20th anniversary. Every autumn, the Career and Alumni Center at Technical University of Sofia organizes the career event, which takes place at the campuses in Sofia, Plovdiv, and Sliven.

The event in Plovdiv welcomed over 40 of the leading companies in the region, who presented to the students their internship programs, job vacancies, and opportunities for career development and growth.

For a second year in a row, there was a dedicated career-counseling zone for students still in high school. This is a joint initiative with the Support Center for Personal Development, Municipal Children’s Complex – Plovdiv, which assists students in grades 1 through 12 in planning their educational and professional development.

“The forum offers students at Technical University of Sofia the opportunity to meet with leading global companies and explore internships and career prospects. It helps them apply their knowledge in a real-world business context and understand what they still need to learn in order to become competitive and reliable professionals. For Technical University of Sofia, feedback from the business regarding its needs for highly qualified future engineers is also essential, for the University to continue providing excellent, as well as relevant training to its students,” shared Assoc. Prof. Aleksandar Mitov, Head of the International Affairs and Integration Department at Technical University of Sofia, in his welcoming speech.

17 leading companies from Sliven and the region met with students at the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogy and the College in Sliven during the 20th edition of Technical University of Sofia’s Career Days. They also presented job vacancies and career guidance to the students.
