Formal Awarding of Diplomas to the Class of 2020 of the Technological University "Electronic Systems" (TUES) at the Technical University – Sofia

On June 26, 2020, at 11:30, in a ceremonial setting at the Technical University – Sofia, diplomas for secondary education were awarded to students from the Technological College "Electronic Systems" (TCES), Class of 2020. 97 graduates received their diplomas, including 35 honor students, from the two specialties "System Programming" and "Computer Networks" of the elite college. The diplomas were presented by the Rector of TU-Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov, and the official guests of the event were: Prof. Dr. Georgi Venkov – Deputy Rector for Academic Staff and Coordination, Prof. Dr. Eng. Lyubomir Dimitrov – Deputy Rector for Educational Activities and Accreditation, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivo Iliev, Dean of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technologies, Prof. Dr. Eng. Tanichka Vasileva, Scientific Supervisor of TCES, Hinka Stanimirova, Executive Director of the TCES Alumni Association, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Stela Stefanova – Director of TCES, Sr. Lect. Lidia Ivanova – Deputy Director of TCES, teachers, and parents of the graduates. "Despite the unusual circumstances and the exceptional epidemic situation, the Class of 2020 performed excellently in the state maturity exams and state qualification exams for obtaining professional qualifications," stated Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stela Stefanova, proud of the achievements of her students. By tradition, a large part of TCES graduates choose to continue their education at TU-Sofia, the leading higher technical university in Bulgaria.
