The Technical University – Sofia has been the leader in six professional fields for another year.

On 12.01.2024, the official ceremony for the thirteenth edition of the Ministry of Education and Science ranking "Rating of Higher Education Institutions in Bulgaria for 2023" was held. During the ceremony, organized by the newspaper "24 chasa", the leading universities in their respective professional fields received their awards.

The Technical University – Sofia has retained its leadership for another year in six professional fields:

• "Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation"
• "Energy" 
• "Communications and Computer Engineering"
• "Mechanical Engineering"
• "General Engineering".
• "Transport, Shipping and Aviation"

Miglena Uzunova-Tsekova, Senior Director of "Human Resources" at A1, presented the award to Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov, Rector of the Technical University – Sofia, and stated: "It is an honor for me to be among the academic community and many colleagues from the business sector. The partnership between A1 and the Technical University is long-standing, and we interact excellently, both with the faculty and with the students who are our interns. We conduct masterclasses at our facilities, where students can see firsthand how work is done in a real-world environment. A1 will continue to support students at TU because we believe that the future is in their hands. There are more than a few hundred colleagues who are graduates of the Technical University; let us increase this number together."
