TU-Sofia attracts students on YouTube and Facebook

The Technical University – Sofia will launch its admissions campaign for the academic year 2021/2022 this week, the university announced. Instead of in-person events, due to anti-epidemic measures, TU-Sofia will attract students via YouTube and Facebook. For this purpose, every Thursday from 14:30 to 16:30, a special studio will be organized, which will broadcast on YouTube channel of the Technical University – Sofia and Facebook. The campaign will run from 11.02 to 22.04.2021. During the online meetings, bachelor's programs offered by the 14 faculties of the Technical University – Sofia to prospective students will be presented. Individual online meetings with secondary schools and professional high schools will also be organized. Students, their parents, and teachers will be able to ask questions to the deans of the faculties and other participants in the online studio – lecturers, students, and business representatives. They will receive valuable advice and the necessary information when choosing programs of interest, as well as the opportunity to immerse themselves in the university atmosphere. To attract young people who wish to dedicate themselves to engineering sciences and professions, the management of the Technical University – Sofia intends to hold round tables with school directors nationwide, upper-grade students, and future employers. Over its 75 years of existence, the Technical University – Sofia has built rich traditions in preparing and placing thousands of students who today are distinguished scholars, engineers, managers, and leaders in Bulgaria and abroad.
