Students from TUES present their best projects at TUES Fest 2018

On April 28, 2018, from 10:00 to 17:00 at the Technological School "Electronic Systems" (TUES) affiliated with the Technical University – Sofia), the first exhibition of student projects in the field of computer networks, software, embedded microcomputer systems, and robotics will take place. – TUES Fest.

More than 150 students from grades 8 to 12 will present their best developments created as coursework, diploma projects, competitive developments in the student hackathon Hack 30xTUES, as well as developments from club and extracurricular activities. Among the 60 projects to be demonstrated, you can see applications and chatbots with artificial intelligence, online games and game consoles, self-driving carts, internet-controlled machines, robots, simulators, virtual reality systems, protection against hacker attacks, remote access systems, and much more.

Parents and students who are about to decide where to continue their education after 7th grade, as well as professionals from IT companies and TUES graduates, are invited to TUES Fest. All of them will be able to vote on-site for the best project in three categories: Computer Networks, Software, and Embedded Systems and Robotics. At 16:30, based on the votes received, the recipients of the Audience Award and the IT Professionals Award will be determined.

In addition to the project authors, around 100 students will also participate in TUES Fest, demonstrating educational content in specialized disciplines and welcoming and accompanying the exhibition guests.

TUES Fest is organized with the support of ATOS, TelebidPro, Telelink, VMware, BULPROS, Droxic, Ubisoft Sofia, Accedia, Dopamine, and Smartcom Bulgaria.
