The regular entrance examination in mathematics was held at the Technical University – Sofia

On June 13, 2026, the regular entrance examination in mathematics for admission to the bachelor's programs of the Technical University – Sofia and its branches in Plovdiv and Sliven took place. Over 1000 applicants participated in the exam, competing for a place in the leading higher technical institution in the country.

By tradition, the exam variant was drawn publicly immediately before the start of the exam. In the presence of the Deputy Rector for Academic Activities and Accreditation of the Technical University – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Milena Lazarova, and the Head of the Academic Department, Silviya Borislavova, applicants Hristo Shopski from Sofia and Maria Hristova from Gotse Delchev drew variant No. 1.

The exam started at 9:00 a.m. and lasted until 1:00 p.m., with strict adherence to the established rules for conducting the applicant campaign. Before the start, Prof. Lazarova welcomed the participants and wished them success. She expressed her satisfaction with the young people's choice to continue their education at the Technical University – Sofia and emphasized the importance of engineering and technical professions for the development of modern society and the economy.

The mathematics entrance examination is one of the main forms of admission to the university and gives candidates the opportunity to apply for a wide range of engineering, technological, and computer science programs.

The exam results will be published on the university's website. Each applicant will be able to check their grade through the 'Personal Information for the Applicant' section.

The applicant campaign of the Technical University – Sofia continues in the coming weeks, with candidates able to submit documents and participate in the remaining admission forms according to the university's established schedule.
