Vasil Velev and Kiril Domuschiev have been elected as members of the Board of Trustees of TU-Sofia

Vasil Velev, Chairman of the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria (AICB), Kiril Domuschiev, Chairman of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB), Dr. Eng. Ventsislav Slavkov, Founder and Manager of Spesima OOD, Ivan Mihaylov, Chairman of the Automotive Cluster Bulgaria (ACB), and Georgi Stefanov, Representative of the Student Council, are the new members of the Board of Trustees of the Technical University of Sofia. On November 19, 2018, a meeting of the Board of Trustees of TU-Sofia was held, at which the members unanimously elected Vasil Velev as Chairman of the Board of Trustees.  

The Board of Trustees is an active partner of the university for the implementation of effective and transparent management and the provision of quality education. The Trustees are among the best graduates of the university, distinguished experts in their field, and well-known public figures with an active stance and authority. They actively assist in solving the current problems of the University and strengthening the connection with business and public and professional organizations.

The Board of Trustees consists of 7 members. Five of the members are elected by the Academic Council upon the proposal of the Rector, and the remaining two are appointed respectively by the Minister of Education and Science and by the Student Council.
