To enroll in the Master's program "Embedded Control Systems," applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in "Technical Sciences" or in "Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Informatics" – specifically in the professional directions "Mathematics" and "Informatics and Computer Science".

Faculty of Automation is proud of its alumni, with whom it maintains continuous contact. Graduates from the faculty, together with the teaching staff, help improve the training of future engineers and the development of the laboratory infrastructure. They meet the industry's needs for scientific and technological solutions in the field of automation and information technology.

Since 2012, within the framework of the "TU-Sofia Science Days" forum in Sozopol, the Faculty of Automation annually organizes and hosts the international scientific forum AUTOMATIKA. The scientific publications of the participants in each conference are included in the collection "Yearbook of TU-Sofia" (ISSN 1311-0829).
The training of doctoral students and scientific research activities are a main priority at the FA. The scientific results of the faculty have received recognition both domestically and internationally.

A highly qualified and motivated faculty teaches students in thebroad-based major “Automation, Information, and Control Engineering” (AICE)at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. Itis among the four most sought-after programs in the country in the field of technical sciencesand has been accredited with a high rating by the Accreditation Council of the National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation.

Individuals who have earned a bachelor’s degree in the fields of “Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Automation,” “Communications and Computer Engineering,” or “General Engineering” may apply for admission to the master’s program in “Automation, Information, and Control Engineering.”

Individuals who have earned a bachelor’s degree in the field of “Technical Sciences,” as well as in the field “Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Computer Science”—specifically in the fields of ‘Mathematics’ and “Computer Science and Informatics.
