The Laboratory for Hydraulic Elements, Machines and Systems – LabHEMS was established in 2003 under the Department of Hydroaerodynamics and Hydraulic Machines, Faculty of Energy Engineering. It has standards and technical measurement equipment, as well as an implemented quality management system, which ensures compliance with the requirements of BDS EN ISO/IEC 17025. Since 2011, LabHEMS has been authorized by the Chairman of DAMTN to perform water meter inspections.
LabHEMS clients include enterprises from the energy sector, water supply and sewerage operators, as well as citizens.
