The Doctoral School (DS) at the Faculty of German Engineering Education and Industrial Management (FDIBA) was established on May 17, 2012, by a decision of the Academic Council of the Technical University of Sofia to stimulate scientific research and development activities and to provide young personnel for the needs of FDIBA. Doctoral students receive financial support from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and are supervised by both German and Bulgarian faculty members.
