Student organizations

Student organizations provide an opportunity for active civic engagement and the acquisition of organizational and leadership skills, as they are entirely managed by students.

Student Council

Student Council (SC), an organization established under the Higher Education Act to protect the common interests of learners. It consists of the representatives of students and doctoral students in the General Assembly of the university. The activities of the SC are funded by TUS, and the funds are used to protect the social interests of students, to organize cultural, sports, scientific, creative, and international activities. The Student Council plays a significant public role, both by expressing official positions on education issues and topics on the public agenda, and by organizing events of a university-wide nature.

AIESEC

AIESEC (Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales), the largest international student organization, present in 124 countries and over 2400 universities worldwide. Since 1990, AIESEC Bulgaria has been stimulating the development of young people's leadership potential, cultural exchange, and international cooperation, and respecting students and business representatives with professionalism, proactivity, willingness to assist, and satisfaction with what it does.

ESTIEM

ESTIEM (European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management) supports students in industrial engineering and management in their personal and professional development by combining technological understanding with management skills. Through its network, it establishes and encourages relationships between students from across Europe - 75 Local Groups in 29 countries.

Student Club "Robotics" (SCR)

The Student Club "Robotics" (SCR) is an organization created and managed by students. The club provides an opportunity for anyone engaged in programming, electronics, robotics, and more to develop their potential in a practical environment by working on various technological projects. As of today, the club includes students from different universities in Bulgaria, who develop their professional skills, learn through practice, and work with new technologies. At the same time, they participate in various competitions, hackathons, and challenges of national and international nature. Every year, an important task of the "Student Club Robotics" is to organize the "Robotics Days" event at TU-Sofia, bringing together people and creators of the future in one place.
