Graduates meeting of the Faculty of Automation 1987

On June 10, 2017, a meeting of the 1987 graduates of the Faculty of Automation took place in room 2140 at TU-Sofia. The meeting was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of their graduation. Prof. Valeri Mladenov, Director of the Directorate "Information and Public Relations" and a member of the Alumni Council, delivered a greeting on behalf of the Rector of TU-Sofia, Prof. Georgi Mihov. The Dean of the Faculty of Automation, Assoc. Prof. Nina Nikolova, also welcomed the graduates. Assoc. Prof. Georgi Milushev, a graduate of the faculty and one of the organizers of the meeting, managed to take his colleagues back in time by recalling many shared experiences. His specially selected photos moved all those present. Silvia Yaneva-Stoyanova, Director of the "Career and Alumni" Center, also welcomed the graduates and invited all participants to join the TU-Sofia Alumni Network as members.
Many of the graduates' professors were also present at the meeting, fondly recalling and sharing many exciting moments that occurred more than 30 years ago.
In the spirit of academic traditions, the graduates had the opportunity to hear the university anthem, visit many of the faculty's laboratories, and take the mandatory group photo in front of the Rectorate.
The "Career and Alumni" Center at the Technical University – Sofia works actively to strengthen and expand communication between the university's graduates and the academic community.
