The Rector of the Technical University – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Kralov, awarded distinguished professionals and meritorious teachers of the Technical University – Sofia

On 26.10.2022, at a ceremonial event in the presence of the members of the Academic Council, the Rector of the Technical University – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov, presented the "Golden Medal of the Technical University – Sofia" and certificates to distinguished professionals and meritorious lecturers of the university. For their contributions to the development of cooperation with the Technical University – Sofia, the following were awarded: Valentina Taneva – Education Advisor to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Corresponding Member Prof. Dr. Nikolai Gabrovski DrSc – Head of the Neurosurgery Clinic at University Hospital "N. I. Pirogov", Major General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Grudi Angelov – former Head of the Military Academy "G. S. Rakovski", Eng. Petar Statev – Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sofia Tech Park, Dr. Eng. Venislav Slavkov – Member of the Board of Trustees of TU – Sofia. For their long-standing teaching, scientific, and administrative activities and their contribution to the development of the Technical University – Sofia, distinguished lecturers were awarded: Corresponding Member Prof. Dr. Eng. Tatyana Lefterova.  Posthumously, the Golden Medal and certificate were awarded to Prof. Dr. Eng. Branimir Sandalski, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Petar Dobrev, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Georgi Vlaykovski. Prof. Králov closed the ceremony with the words: "For me, the awarding of prizes is one of the most beautiful moments, because it is a well-deserved recognition of the work and achievements of our lecturers, of the fruitful cooperation with our partners, and it gives meaning to our existence as a university and research center. We are building the future, creating the technical elite of the nation, which will work for the prosperity of our society. Let us dream together and realize our dreams!"
