Students from the Technical University – Sofia with second place in the EUt+ Incubation Programme 2025 initiative

The students from the Technical University – Sofia, Alexander Kolchev, Ivian Stoyanov, and Denis Ismetov, won second place in the EuT+ Incubation Programme – Start-Up Lab competition, which took place within the framework of the European University of Technology (EUt+) alliance in Darmstadt, Germany.

With the project SolarBlinds – intelligent blinds with solar panels that adjust automatically according to sunlight and generate clean energy – the team presented TUS with distinction among eight teams from all nine partner universities of EUt+.

A competent jury consisting of representatives from all partners, including Prof. Lidia Galabova, Vice Rector for International Activities and Integration, on behalf of TUS, evaluated the projects based on innovation, business potential, and sustainability. Our students delivered an impressive presentation and rightfully secured second place in the final ranking.
