The Technical University – Sofia is an official partner of the large-scale youth festival "Hello, Space! Bulgaria Speaks"

The Technical University – Sofia is an official partner of the two-day youth science festival "Hello, Space! Bulgaria Speaks", which took place at Sofia Tech Park in the capital on June 26 and 27. The large-scale event was held for the sixth time, organized by the Atlantic Club in Bulgaria and brought together people of all ages from across the country. This year, under the motto "The Moon, Mars and Beyond: Horizons Without Borders", the festival was dedicated both to inspiration and to career development in STEAM fields.

The first day of "Hello, Space | Bulgaria Speaks" offered young and adult enthusiasts a touch of the world of Space and science. Visitors participated in various innovative and educational outdoor activities, including demonstrations, workshops on space exploration, astronomy, biology, physics, and technology. Throughout the day, there was also a space chess tournament. Children and adults observed science, technology, and exceptional physical fitness presented in an easy-to-understand and exciting way, inspiring curiosity and admiration. Visitors learned about scientific principles and technologies in action – from Gutenberg's machine and Eratosthenes' experiment to adrenaline demonstrations by the special forces of the Bulgarian Army, as well as meeting leading scientists, astronauts, and innovators.

The festival booths became a kind of showcase of the diverse ecosystem of science, technology, and education in Bulgaria and around the world. From space technologies to bookstores, from university faculties to children's robotics academies – this colorful fair for learning and inspiration awakened curiosity and the creative spirit, presenting science as accessible, understandable, and exciting for children, young people, and their families.

TU – Sofia participated with several faculties and the Student Club for Aerospace Engineering, whose teams became an attractive magnet for visitors with attractive demonstrations of the latest technologies. The most interesting for children were the robots that can be controlled and perform various commands. Surely, these machines ignite imagination and delight future discoverers. Older students were attracted by the thinking games that the academic teachers had prepared for them.

The festival program continued on Saturday with the initiative "Hello, Space | STEAM Careers", in which TU – Sofia participated with an information booth. Throughout the day, interest in the university's bachelor's and master's programs was extremely high. The TU – Sofia booth was visited by both students interested in engineering specialties and bachelors wishing to continue their education in the university's master's programs.

Visitors had the opportunity to obtain detailed information about the specialties, application conditions, and professional realization prospects offered by the Technical University – Sofia.
