Triumph, top positions, and a gold medal for TU – Sofia at the 10th anniversary edition of the inter-university mathematics competition, 2023.

On December 16, 2023, the tenth anniversary edition of the Inter-University Mathematics Competition was held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Students from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", Technical University – Sofia, University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in the competition. 

Participants in the competition were divided into three groups: "Group A" – mathematics, informatics, and computer science; "Group B" – natural and technical sciences, security, and defense; and "Group C".

Technical University – Sofia participated in the competition with mathematical talents in Group A: Nikola Vitanov and Ivan Ivanov, first- and second-year students from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, and in Group B: Yoan Djelekarski and Vladimir Gospodinov, second-year students from the Faculty of Computer Systems and Technologies. The preparation of the competitors from TU – Sofia was organized and conducted by the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics.

The competitors from TU – Sofia achieved an absolute triumph and secured the top positions in the Inter-University Mathematics Competition 2023, winning one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals.
