The 2025 graduates of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics received their diplomas at a ceremonial event

The ceremony took place in the newest and most modern hall of TU – Sofia, Tech Arena, which turned out to be too small to accommodate all graduates and guests of the celebration. Over 200 graduates from the Class of 2025 of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics (FAMI) received their diplomas. 

Medals and certificates for outstanding academic performance were awarded to the bachelors Marina Lazarova and Bozhidara Todorova from the specialization "Applied Mathematics and Informatics", Aleksandar Brezhnikov from the specialization "Applied Physics and Computer Modeling", Anton Kostov and Zornitsa Stoyanova from the specialization "Informatics and Software Sciences", and the masters Angelina Dachkova and Preslav Tsenov from the specialization "Informatics and Software Sciences" and Tanya Uzunova from the specialization "Analysis of Large Data Arrays and Streams". 

The celebration was brighter and more significant, as the first masters from the newest program of TU – Sofia from the specialization "Pedagogy of Teaching Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics" were also graduating.

Master Preslav Tsenov read the Galilean Oath, and Master Angelina Dachkova delivered a congratulatory message to her colleagues for successfully completing their studies.

Emotional greetings to the graduates were delivered by the Rector of TU – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Georgi Venkov, and the Dean of FAMI, Prof. Dr. Desislava Ivanova.

Prof. Venkov stated that the diploma received from the Technical University – Sofia is a reward for the efforts made, the knowledge and skills acquired, and the results achieved. These diplomas are highly valued by all employers, both in the country and abroad. Do not forget your Alma Mater and your faculty, he added. Finally, he wished the graduates to excel as outstanding specialists, with whom the university can be proud.

The graduates were also congratulated by the faculty's gold partners, represented by Ivan Rusev, Software Projects Manager at Experian Bulgaria, and by the faculty's newest partner, RingCentral Bulgaria. Veronika Ivanova from this company congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their professional careers.
