Engineering sciences are the backbone of the economy. There is nothing more important than engaging in science that is applicable to the economy. With these words, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Tanya Mihaylova welcomed the students at the Technical University of Sofia at the opening of the academic year. She emphasized that the choice of young people to study at this institution guarantees them successful careers. According to Tanya Mihaylova, the Technical University, which is part of a network with 8 foreign technical universities, helps our country through its scientific activities. The university offers training in priority professional fields, which prepare technical personnel for important industries, and students have the opportunity to receive additional scholarships.
