"Career Days" at TUS - a useful symbiosis between business and the university

The event provides an opportunity for direct contact between students and companies. "Career Days" will be held on October 13, 2020, at the Technical University - Sofia, and on October 14, 2020, at the campuses of the Technical University in Plovdiv and the Faculty and College - Sliven. At TU-Sofia, the exhibition will take place in three university academic buildings – the 1st Academic Building – Rectorate, the 2nd Academic Building, and the 12th Academic Building. The event is held for the 15th consecutive year and provides an opportunity for direct contact between students and companies, their potential employers, who will present information about their activities, about vacant jobs and internship positions, as well as to meet and talk with interested students. "This is an extremely useful event for both sides. On the one hand, students see the business in person, on the other hand, employers themselves can clearly present their activities, as well as raise some specific problems, projects, and look for their future workers", says the Rector of the Technical University Prof. Ivan Králov.  In addition, feedback for the university is extremely useful for the university, as companies participate in the formation of the university's curricula, in the control of what is taught, how the connection with business is established. According to the rector, this is an extremely useful symbiosis that leads to the annual increase in the number of participating companies.
