The rectors of Trakia University and the Technical University signed a cooperation agreement

The Rector of Trakia University – Stara Zagora, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dobri Yarkov, and the Rector of Technical University – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Kralov, signed a cooperation agreement. Its goal is to establish academic ties and cooperation for training, scientific research, and exchange in various scientific fields of mutual interest, which will be further specified in pre-prepared work programs. Trakia University – Stara Zagora and Technical University – Sofia will work on joint scientific research activities, and part of the cooperation includes scientific research projects, scientific research, and the creation of scientific-applied products through scientific research programs involving faculty members, doctoral students, and students from both universities, so that the scientific results, which will be jointly published, can be used by both sides. An exchange of academic staff and students will also be carried out. Both universities will mutually provide material and technical base, lecture resources, access to libraries, classrooms, and scientific laboratories, and conduct visits to monitor the implementation and effectiveness of activities under the specific work programs. The event was attended by the Minister of Education and Science, Krastimir Valkov, who was on a working visit in Stara Zagora, Tatyana Dimitrova, Director of the Regional Inspectorate of Education, Ivanka Sotirova, Deputy Mayor of Stara Zagora Municipality, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emil Slavov, Deputy Rector of TrU. Guests of Trakia University – Stara Zagora visited some of the art galleries and museum facilities of the higher education institution.
