During the training in the specialty "Electrical Power Systems" I will be prepared to:

• work fully in the field of my specialty, possessing advanced mathematical and specialized training;
• independently formulate engineering problems related to the objects of the specialty, applying modern methods and tools for their appropriate solution;

The admission to the specialty "Electrical Power Systems", educational and qualification level (EQL) "master's", is conducted through a document-based competition. Applicants must have completed

• EQL "bachelor's" and/or "master's" in specialties from professional field 5.2. Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation – duration of study 2 semesters;
• EQL "bachelor's" and/or "master's" in specialties from field 5. Technical Sciences (excluding PF 5.2. Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation) – duration of study 4 semesters;
• EQL "professional bachelor's" in specialties from professional field 5.2. Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation – duration of study 4 semesters.

The training of engineers in the specialty "Electrical Power Systems" is organized on the basis of modern achievements in the field of electrical engineering and electrical technology. The Study Plan includes six mandatory disciplines that form the general theoretical preparation in the field of electrical power systems, electrical engineering, and renewable energy sources.

The specialized training includes four main groups of disciplines forming the corresponding specialized modules, as follows:

- the first group of disciplines is aimed at improving the preparation of students in the specialization "Electrical Power Systems".
